This was a job Luks found on Angel List (now called Wellfound). Angel List has an amazing job board with thousands of startups hiring remotely across the entire world.
Here’s a breakdown of how the application process went👇️
He customized the CV, following keywords from the Job Description.
Contacted the hiring manager with a strategic message.
Prepared the interviews by doing research about the company, its customers, services, the job description, and the interviewer.
How did the process end up?
Luks decided not to move forward because it was about selling a pretty technical solution inside an industry that wasn’t the best fit for him.
— Yes, despite the base salary being $100k per year, Luks didn’t feel it was the right move.
He was also being reached out on LinkedIn by recruiters who found his profile and experience a great fit 🔥

— Yes, this is a salary range of $130k - $160k. Crazy right?
